Overview

Ravioli Yuan Ji stands out as a vibrant fast food gem nestled at the entrance of Milan’s Chinatown, on Via Paolo Sarpi. This spot caters to those craving authentic yet accessible Chinese street food with a modern touch. The brand’s specialty lies in its diverse array of ravioli, ranging from classic beef and pork fillings to more delicate options featuring shrimp and chives—a true delight for both traditional palates and adventurous food lovers.

The highlight here is undoubtedly the ravioli, praised for their fresh, well-balanced flavors and perfectly cooked dough that strikes a subtle balance between thickness and tenderness. Customers have pointed out the exceptional quality and freshness of the food, which arrives hot and ready to enjoy, making it ideal for a quick lunch or casual dinner. Beyond ravioli, the menu offers a thoughtful selection of complimentary dishes like spring rolls, pork meatball soup, and chicken skewers, each crafted to complement the main attraction without overwhelming the palate.

The location itself adds a layer of cultural richness, right where Milan’s bustling Chinatown begins, making it a convenient and atmospheric stop for locals and tourists alike. While the space lacks indoor seating, making it less suited for rainy days or leisurely meals, it reflects the fast-paced street food culture that the brand embodies. The setting encourages a grab-and-go experience, perfect for those on the move or seeking a flavorful takeaway treat.

Ravioli Yuan Ji appeals to a range of customers—from busy workers looking for a fresh and speedy meal to street food enthusiasts eager to savor well-crafted dumplings and Chinese bites. Its reputation is bolstered by repeat patrons who appreciate the skillful preparation and harmonious flavors, often mentioning how the ravioli here surpass many others in both taste and quality without being greasy or heavy.

In sum, Ravioli Yuan Ji delivers a focused and authentic taste of Chinese fast food right in the heart of Milan. It is a must-visit for lovers of dumplings and fast, fresh street eats, combining tradition with convenience in a lively neighborhood setting.

It is in good location at the beginning of china town. For raining weather, it is not possible to sit and walk while eating. We had rice cake and dumpling. The dumpling was good but rice cake is unlike local in china.

Service might not be the quickest, but it just shows that the dumplings are homemade. You can taste the work that was put in them. Price is fair.
